Description

The N4000i is Norfield’s compact inverter generator: a closed-shell, carry-handle unit for loads that need cleaner power than a conventional open-frame machine typically provides.

The control panel matches the hardware: a wattage display, two 120V 20A household outlets, a 120V 30A twist-lock, USB-A and USB-C charging, an economy switch, and parallel ports if you later add a second compatible inverter.

It is a gasoline outdoor product. Never run it in a home, garage, basement, or other enclosed area. Place it outside, away from doors, windows, and vents, and use a battery CO alarm in occupied buildings.

Can I run the N4000i indoors?

No. It is a combustion engine product. Never operate it inside a home, garage, basement, or other enclosed space. Carbon monoxide can kill quickly.

Will it run an RV air conditioner?

Some 13,500 BTU RV A/C units start near or above this machine’s 4,500 starting watts. Measure your actual compressor start load. Many owners use a 30A RV inlet; confirm the plug type on your camper before buying.

Is the output safe for electronics?

This is an inverter generator designed for cleaner power than a conventional non-inverter unit. That does not replace surge protection or manufacturer limits on medical devices. Follow device manuals.
